How to choose the right bus size for your Dubai group
Seat count is only half the decision. Luggage, venue access and route length decide whether a coaster or a coach is the right call.
Most groups book by headcount alone and end up with a vehicle that technically seats everyone but cannot carry their bags. A 30-seat coaster seats thirty adults comfortably, yet its luggage bay realistically holds around twenty large suitcases. If your group is arriving from a long-haul flight, that gap matters.
Start with three numbers: passengers, large suitcases and hand-carry bags. Then check the venue. Multi-storey hotel driveways in Downtown Dubai and Marina often cap vehicle height at 3.2 metres, which rules out full coaches regardless of how well they fit your headcount.
Finally, think about route length. For anything over an hour — Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Fujairah — a full-height coach with reclining seats and hold storage is worth the price difference. For short hops between hotel and venue, a coaster is faster to load and easier to park.
